The Situation In Israel.
Israel is under attack constantly. I cannot blame them for
finally having enough and deciding to strike back. I know Christian getting angry that the United States
is not getting more involved. I pray for our nation that we will always stand
behind the Nation of Israel and take a stand to help protect them.
Should we be praying for war though?
I hear many Prayers going out for Israel and victory over
their Muslim opposition. Many of these prayers are more like war cries. I’ve
heard people pray for death of leaders. I’ve heard people praying for Gods
wrath over those attacking Israel. With every missile that hits a target in
Gaza, and people with no choice at being there are being killed. Lets face the
facts, the majority of people on both sides are only there because they happen
to be placed there at birth. They are on the side they stand with by default. I
have a feeling if we went and asked both the civilians on both sides, they
would rather peace than to see more of their loved ones killed in cross fire.
So I ask the age old question, what would Jesus do?
I am instantly brought to scripture when Jesus was being
taken captive. I do not picture these Roman Soldier being gentle with Jesus. I
am picturing them giving him an old style jail house beatdown as they bound the
hands of our Savior behind his back. Jesus was violently removed that morning
by armed soldiers of the evil empire of the time. He was being delivered into
the hands of non believers to answer to crimes he did not commit.
Luke 22:49-52
49 When Jesus’ followers saw what was going to happen, they said, “Lord, should we strike with our swords?” 50 And one of them struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his right ear.
51 But Jesus answered, “No more of this!” And he touched the man’s ear and healed him.
52 Then Jesus said to the chief priests, the officers of the temple guard, and the elders, who had come for him, “Am I leading a rebellion, that you have come with swords and clubs? 53 Every day I was with you in the temple courts, and you did not lay a hand on me. But this is your hour—when darkness reigns.”
It is my belief that as Christians, we should always be seeking peace. I believe praying to Jesus for victory in war is the biggest Oxy-Moron. Jesus speaks more about peace and turning the other cheek in the Bible more than anything else. He taught us to pray for our enemies. We should be turning to God to ask for wholeness of these people.
It is our natural instinct to view all the people under one umbrella. X nation is against Israel so all people must be evil that live there. This just cannot be true. They had no choice where they were born, God placed their souls in the bodies. I do not believe God is not trying to touch the hearts of those very people during conflict any less than he is speaking to our hearts.
Praying for war and death of a people is the most Anti-Christian thing I can think of. If United States is a Christian Nation, then us Christians in this nation should be displaying the heart of God. I say pray for the enemy. I say we should only be putting forth words of peace and love. While I would never stand in the way of our Government acting to protect the Nation of Israel, the last thing I would ask God for is death of an entire group of people.

Husbands - It may be Too Late
Men, love your wives. I have a beautiful one. She has a heart I will never find in another. She made me want to be a better person. Through her I found the glory of God. Through my wife I found what the essence of love is all about. I will never find someone I connect through on such an emotional level, I only wish I realized it a long time ago.
I wish someone taught me what an impact my behavior has on those around me. I grew up in a home that did not show love in a healthy way. I grew up feeling it was ok to yell, punch walls and insult each other. The word “Sorry” meant you move on. You don’t hold grudges, you assume life can go on back to normal, what ever normal was in that house.
I had this embedded in me. So when life gave me challenges, I took it out on those around me. I assumed my words would not leave life long scars. I thought my wife and children would have the same “toughness” I was built with. Now I find myself praying that it is not too late to remove that from my children before they have to learn about love the hard way, like I am.
A while back my wife wanted to leave. It was one of the worst days of my life until this week. She had enough of my emotional abuse. Men make no doubt about it, if you let anger get the best of you, it is emotional abuse. It may not be intentional, but you are inflicting a kind of pain on to other people. That is the definition of abuse. I never inflicted physical pain on the ones I love but it is pain non the less.
We turned to the Church. Through Christian counseling and dealing with inner turmoil I had in my own heart, I began to change. I can give a testimony today that I am no longer that man. I have learned how to control those angry impulses. I have learned that while I may just be breaking an object, I may also be breaking a heart.
In the last 9 or 10 months I have had one bad day. My wife and I seemed happy. She seemed to be opening her heart back up to me. Our marriage looked to be turned around. People were noticing. I was getting comments from strangers. Other men wanted to know what I did that caused such a shift. The only answer I could give is “I changed”
This week my wife left me. Through me changing, she has realized how deep the pain runs. She is facing a torn heart. While she still loves me,but she is not sure I can ever get her to forgive me. My chance may be too late. I don’t hate her for this. I am not angry at her. I find myself angry at myself for living blind for so long.
The reason my heart beats, wants out of my life. The one I birthed 4 awesome children with wants out of my life. She is everything to me, and everything is what I now risk losing.
I tell you men this. Love you Wives. Cherish them. Be patient with them. Also try and be your best towards them. There is nothing more painful than the woman you love walking out. Do not make the same mistakes I have made. Do not take their patience for you lightly. Do not take advantage of a forgiving heart. One day they pain my just start to outweigh the love. Your wife is GODS gift to you. Treat her that way. Die out for her like Jesus did for the church. If you are married and have an anger issue, I do not care how minor, go seek help now. Do not fool yourself that you are fine. Do not fool yourself you are normal. You are injured. You have been injured by your upbringing. You have something in you that is not normal. Do not think that pain is restricted to phyiscal abuse. I never struck my wife, but I hurt her the same.
I will not stop fighting for my wife. I am seeking God and trying to further perfect my heart. I want to love like Jesus. With or without her I am stopping the madness that has ruled my life for too long. I am taking control of my emotions, I control my reactions.

Big Bang Falsey
There is a misconception among pseudo scientist that like to claim the BBT is a theory about existence itself. They are not ambitious or knowledgeable enough to be a real scientist, so they sit on forums and news groups on the internet debating with crowds of people who would not know any better. They get a sense of being smart.
I am not a scientist, however when I want to learn something I do not turn to fake scientist sitting on the internet. I've picked up a few books with mathematics and language I really do not understand. What I have realized is we have dumbed down the Big Bang Theory to the point it is not even accurate. We have done so in order for the fake scientist to be able to talk about this theory and sound smart. We have turned it into something they are able to understand and explain to people like me.
Big Bang Theory is not a Theory of existence. It does not say, there was nothing and then matter exploded making our universe. In fact it says the complete opposite.
What the Theory really says i the universe was very condense. It was filled with matter. It was very hot. Something causes that matter to expand over space, making it cool down in the process. We are in a universe that is expanding and cooling down. BBT is by no means a theory about existence itself, more a theory on how our universe formed into what it is today. It is not the origin of life. It also is not tied in with biological evolution. Truth is no consensus has been reached on ideas about the ultimate origin of the universe.
That sums it up simply. Now there are all kinds of equations and theories about radiation, dark matter, speed, energy and light that honestly I do not understand. In fact I have come to the conclusion it is so complex that only a small percentage of people could actually understand such concepts and ideas. The problem is the internet is filled with pseudo scientist who don't fully understand it themselves, but they have a motive to get people to think as they think, so they preach concepts of BBT without even really understand BBT. It is an effective practice of theirs because honestly who knows enough to better argue with them? This is the problem when the goal of science is to prove a group of people wrong, rather than having a goal of discovering the workings of the universe.

Back Track
I have had a few emails regarding my last blog entry titled Perfect Love. I feel it important to clear up some concerns. I am glad I am getting the feedback! I urge those of you sending me emails to use the comments for the blog entry itself however, I would like to promote open dialog!
First I want to address sin. I am by no means saying it is ok to sin! What I believe is if we are living in Holy Spirit, you will not sin. We have created this mentality . Jesus made a way to free of from sin, not free us to sin.
I have also had people voice concerns that this was somehow related to the topic of same sex marriage. I by no means wrote that with same sex marriage on my mind. I am in no position to declare a personal war with God regarding that issue!
Thats all. I will be adding more in the next few days. Please check back!.

Perfect Love
I have come to a realization that those who call themselves Christians, are the biggest obstruction to pathway to Christ. The very meaning of Christ nature has been contaminated by rules and doctrines set forth by man. Religious spirits have become the mainstay of the Christian culture. Man has turned Jesus into a man to be feared rather than a Spirit which exist only for love and compassion. If God is dead, Christians are the killer.
The early Church fathers did not speak or teach of hell. The first gatherings of Christianity, were in a sense the first Universalist. They believed in a direct and personal experience with God. They did not believe that Christ came and died to free us of some religion. He came to break down ALL religion. Jesus did not come and break down Jewish Law just to create a Christian Law that was just as controlling.
For centuries God had been used as a tool for anger. Man found itself bound by senseless rules about what to eat, drink, read, talk about, who to marry, and what people were ok to show respect and love to.
His two commandments were pretty simply in this answer. The first part is easy to follow, we all create in heads what loving God means. The second part is not so easy however, because of the opposite reason , we have no idea how to love our neighbor unconditionally.
Did Jesus say “Control your neighbors”?
Did he say “Judge your neighbors”?
Did he say “Convert your neighbors”?
All Jesus instructed us to do was love and respect each other. He wanted us to stop looking at people through judging eyes. We are not capable of doing work of the spirit. All we are able to do is share that spirit with our actions and interactions with other people. If God feels someone needs to investigate something in their own heart, he is able to bring that to their attention. However he can not do his work when we become a blockage in the flow of Spirit by deciding for Him what people need to be doing. He is God, we are not and we need to stop pretending to be his police force. We can’t even figure out how to live by Jesus’s simple instruction of love, how can we claim to understand the rest of Gods desires?
This has become a widely used scripture against teachings such as this. A key Scripture that helped birth the Evangelistic movement in the United States over the last 60 to 70 years. When read in context without investigation these words seem like a simple instruction. If you are not preaching Jesus, then you are of the Antichrist. However, is there an instruction in that comment? People love to use the beginning of that passage without reading on.
Here is the actual instruction. Love one another. It did not say Judge, Convert, or condemn. The instruction was pretty simple, just love each other.
God dwells in us, so we can dwell with God. His love is something to be shared. I see nothing in here about forcing the word of Jesus. He is saying, if you truly believe in Jesus, and believe you have Jesus in you, walk in that belief. Use the love of Jesus inside you to love on other people. He is telling us here, there can be no fear in love. God himself will use fear to change ones heart, however nowhere does it instruct us to help him in the process. Nowhere does it say that we are to be the ones to use fear. If you are using fear as a tactic to spread the word of God, it can’t be God. God is perfect love, and love cast out fear. If your love is one that utilizes fear it can’t be love because fear is based on torment. There is no torment in love.
Christians have become so fixated on the belief that Jesus is all loving but set strict religious rules for us to live by. Christians judge people based on how often they pray, how good they pray, how much they tithe, whom they associate with, what they look like, where they are from and who knows what else was embedded in each of us through our easily influenced adolescent years.
This is another Scripture God is showing me that has been twisted. When read out of context it appears to be one of Judgement. Live Good or you do not get salvation. You will rot in this concept of Hell that man has established. I tend to believe everyone skips over Matthew 7:1 however.
I’ve never seen a scripture so taken out of context and twisted as I have with this one. Who are we to judge one another? Who are we to declare one a sinner? Who are we to condemn someone to hell?
I have already built a case that out soul purpose on earth is to love each other. That is the one instruction Jesus has given us. He gave us the gift of the Holy Spirit to transform within us and our bodies have become the new temples of Gods presence. With that Spirit within us we can share his UNCONDITIONAL love towards ALL people.
Yet, most of us will never figure this out. For us to fully grasp the meaning of love is very unlikey. Most people will never learn how to love like that. Few will find that understanding. He is not saying few will learn how to live their live in a way that is pleasing enough to God. He is saying we will never fully understand the true meaning of love.
My plea to Christians is to walk in lov. Stop using hate and fear as a way to introduce people to God. The only way Spirit can flow is through love because that is the very essence of God. Out job is not to force our views on life on other people, our job is not to lobby to law makers to force our will on other people, or job is not to teach people the correct way to live their life. Our job is simple, love purely. Love without fear. Love without judgement.
Only when you figure out how to walk in love every second of your life. When you learn to stop any selfish thinking. When you learn to stop any action that has something for you as a motive. When you learn to be a agent of love with your every thought, action and desire, only then can you cast the stone of Judgement. Jesus himself gave us this only instruction because he is all wisdom and he knew our capabilities. He knew the world would twist our thoughts and love would become a complicated task.
Jesus knew it would take us a lifetime just to figure out what selfless love really is.

When you learn to be a agent of love with your every thought, action and desire, only then can you cast the stone of Judgement. Jesus himself gave us this only instruction because he is all wisdom and he knew our capabilities. He knew the world would twist our thoughts and love would become a complicated task.
Jesus knew it would take us a lifetime just to figure out what selfless love really is.
